This is a certain list of the music I like a lot – I just took some days to recall that I know and remember from the past. I also checked the folder names of my music in my computer, I couldn't remember everything. Music styles are estimated by myself and separate line comments are after the track. Would you like to go to a deep and long trip?

A. The deepest or best.

First there was some deep ambient:
Robert Rich - Hayagriva (1983 (!), 25m13s long, the whole album is amazing): https://youtu.be/NRQ70Exa3Pw?t=1796
Robert Rich - Live in Cleveland Sleep Concert 5.2 (1996): https://youtu.be/r_c8RG4fW_o
(I once travelled to Copenhagen to listen to this live, in a concert, played by himself, 8 hours 0:00-8:00 through the night.)

Even before that, there was this and the naming of this style of music came from Brian Eno:
Brian Eno - 1/1 (ambient, 1978): https://youtu.be/LKZ3fGR2SDY

Arovane - Außen Vor Amx (electronica, 1998/2002): https://youtu.be/lLRF7OPVv5U

A new style called dub techno emerged with this pristine and hypnotic example:
Maurizio - M05a (edit) (1997, the whole album is amazing): https://youtu.be/khITc2RGgks
Purl - Baleine (ambient dub techno, 2015): https://youtu.be/V9MIarQDXRY
Smooth - City Of Hidden Devices (ambient dub techno, 2017, the whole album is amazing): https://youtu.be/CWsG5tgdGbU

Later, the earlier stars continued doing their stuff but that was often out of my world already, too different from the past; there are some good examples though:
Autechre - PIOBmx (experimental electronica, 1995): https://youtu.be/8Rus5cOSjGM
Autechre - VLetrmx (experimental electronica, 1995): https://youtu.be/7zuOcHf7pg4

Autechre - Gantz Graf (experimental electronica, 2002, video!): https://youtu.be/ev3vENli7wQ

Aphex Twin - T16.5 MADMA with nastya [London 03.06.17] (ambient techno, 2017): https://youtu.be/j-YQ7fZsXtw

Deep ambient was made later too:

Huerco S. - Kraanvogel (2016): https://youtu.be/i9qGYndoncc
Blank Embrace - Condescension I (2017): https://youtu.be/jiVRxlUDhZo

A random pick from YouTube suggestions that has a very cool title and picture (Midjourney/AI):
Cyberpunk Ambient for Those Waiting at Empty Platforms (atmospheric ambient, 2025): https://youtu.be/8CfVHyzQC-c

Unbelievable (or rather not?) but even an intro to a music show in radio can be incredibly deep and well done - BBC Radio 1 with Mary Anne Hobbs playing the above mentioned Autechre remix of Surgeon in July 2008: 20080723_BBC_R1_experimental_MAH.mp3
The same intro could be heard here too at the beginning but it's different, not having all the amazing parts that are in my recording: https://youtu.be/_4iq7K2-l-s

Some early teenage dreams and dance/trance music that are still around sometimes, there's so much beauty and soul here! YouTube reminded me many of these that I had totally forgotten otherwise:
Moby - Go (dance, 1991): https://youtu.be/NLCHARjjrws
U.S.U.R.A. - Open Your Mind (dance trance, 1992, video!, one of my all time favourites): https://youtu.be/TPFAYIr8z2I

(How is this possible that this music is 30 (!) years old? I can't believe it.)
Antiloop - At The Rebels Room (techno, 1997): https://youtu.be/iE1ru_tb9aM
(I know, their In My Mind was much more famous with the video but this track from the same album is much better, deeper.)
Members of Mayday - Sonic Empire (dance, 1997): https://youtu.be/uCeqmPgRmUs
Da Hool - Meet Her at the Loveparade (dance, 1997, dope video!): https://youtu.be/KO4y3nkJXDA

Sasha, Krister Linder - Cut Me Down (Kastis Torrau & Donatello feat. Arnas D. Remix) (dance, 2011): https://youtu.be/VcO0aJhS52E

Talking about dance and techno music, I've been fascinated by female DJ's: there's something very special when they make the music and especially this kind. Few examples:
Julia Govor - @Dommune (techno, 2016, some Stalker-related old Russian electronic music at the beginning): https://youtu.be/l30td38xtNA
Julia Govor - @EDC Orlando (techno, 2016): https://youtu.be/9Y1hiBQkESg
Julia Govor - @DJ Mag, vinyls (techno, 2020): https://youtu.be/9pCrw2gL3wQ
Charlotte de Witte - @Tomorrowland Belgium (dance, 2018, grandiose stage!): https://youtu.be/mWvdsMwnGmM

This track probably changed my thinking in 2000 (heard it from radio), it is one of the most special and deepest pieces of music I have ever heard. Be very careful when listening to this one, you may get freaked out (if not possessed, if you're spiritually weak – the other albums made by the same author under different names are evil and demonic in my opinon and are to be avoided at all times, regrettably so):
O.S.T. - Ebola (experimental techno/electronica, 1997): https://youtu.be/oKJ9uENcuVc

There is another piece of music from 1997 in the style of gabber ("hard techno out of hard techno") but since the CD picture is so evil (I used to have that triple CD myself!), I decided to leave out this one and not mention it explicitly. It is German gabber. So there is that kind of music out there. I still listen to this track once every 10 years. Let this one be kept secret.

Maybe a third dangerous album to point for the brave, this time depressing and melancholic, maybe even haunting – so much so that when I started listening to it first time I stopped in the middle of the second track because I just couldn't take it. Only a year or so later I listened it through, mostly out of curiosity and it's not so bad when I listen to it now, but I have warned, it is not to be listened to in fragile moments:
Deru - 1979 (ambient, 2014): https://youtu.be/11JITPeYAWs
(It amazes me when I listen to something new and original, how can people be so creative?)

In a bit similar lines as the previous one, less dangerous, but this too may require some strength and courage to go through – including reading the titles of tracks and reading more about the author of this music – but it depends on the person listening, of course (I enjoy all of it):
The Caretaker - An Empty Bliss Beyond This World (original unknown style, a certain looping of old music around 1920's, 2011): https://youtu.be/LL998ajnjN4

When talking about getting freaked then there's this:
LFO - Freak (techno/IDM, 2003, video!): https://youtu.be/HgMcNXxtY-4

Deep techno:
Julia Govor - Open Possibility (2016, video!): https://youtu.be/S2D6Z8WNxp8
Julia Govor - Villa Tone (2020): https://youtu.be/veHqd0c7vjQ

Even deeper techno (slower too):
Monolake (live, 2001): https://youtu.be/6GkxFPsJmp8
Monolake - Bicom (2001): https://youtu.be/fTz3VXVJPv4

A very deep form of slow and vocal techno music, this was something new to me:
Andy Stott - Numb (2012): https://youtu.be/EkmvXOQtmXk
Andy Stott - Lost and Found (2012): https://youtu.be/DeMkw1-Qbvw
Andy Stott - Up the Box (experimental breakbeat?, 2012): https://youtu.be/ohqcsZNVfLw

And Jeff Mills in action, pure art is happening right there (he is from Detroit):
Jeff Mills Exhibitionist 2 Mix 1 (Part 2) (techno, 2017): https://youtu.be/KfjQu9ewx4s

House:
The Mole People (Armand Van Helden) - Break Night (The Mardi Gras Mix) (1995): https://youtu.be/uoDpSItorIc
(I wonder what kind of techno this is: house techno? tech-house? It's one of the best things ever in this style! I heard it first from radio at 29.05.2003, I recorded on cassettes then. The broadcaster, a well known DJ said the best thing of this is the length: it should keep on going forever.)
Zoo Brazil - Second Coming (deepest tech-house ever, it's their first track, 2001): https://youtu.be/KmWij2ad2NM
Daniel Stefanik - Dambala Experience Pt. 1 (tech-house that is literally out of this world, 2011): https://youtu.be/Z4SwMwMhDfw
Zoo Brazil - Tomorrow (house, 2023): https://youtu.be/6W5tewIJzeo

Speed garage (sounds like a certain faster subgenre of house):
Speed Garage Mania (the whole album is amazing, 1998): https://youtu.be/mAVN7lvqbEU

Drum and bass:
Lu:k - La:v (jungle, Estonian, 1994): https://youtu.be/gS_O4GyN8HA
Lu:k - Pik (jungle, Estonian, 1994): https://youtu.be/xQOk1byu4FA
Goldie - Timeless: Inner City Life, Pressure & Jah (1995): https://youtu.be/NoV85P4L8kI
Blu Mar Ten - ? (atmospheric drum and bass, recorded before 2003 from radio, couldn't find the title and possible remix author of this): 20030607_Blu_Mar_Ten.mp3
? - ? (ambient electronica, recorded before 2003 from radio): 20030607_ambient-electronica.mp3
(An extraordinary piece of music but I don't know the author nor the title.)
смерть в летнюю полночь - непредсказуемость (death at midsummer midnight - unpredictability; atmospheric jungle/drum and bass, whole album, 2016): https://youtu.be/8lHczY4vNJM
(This has been a very lucky finding!)

Muslimgauze (from USA) seems to be a category of electronic music of its own, one example:
Muslimgauze - Hand of Fatima (1999): https://youtu.be/4BpKihQuitI (The version I got from mp3.com in 2000 was different but not that much.)

Also Volga from Russia is a very special kind of music, combining old Russian national songs with some deep electronica:
Волга - Снежки (Volga - Snezhki (Snowballs), 2003): https://youtu.be/e4FPVFm8r7U?t=1598
Волга - Жито (Volga - Zhito (Rye), 2013, live): https://youtu.be/EfLYvF8LYUE

More amazing music randomly:
Boards of Canada - Everything You Do is a Balloon (electronica, 1996, video!): https://youtu.be/dQEmaj9C6ko
Boards of Canada - Music Is Math (electronica, 2002, video!): https://youtu.be/F7bKe_Zgk4o
S. I. Futures - Eurostar (FX Mix) (techno breakbeat, 1999): https://youtu.be/TIu_NsWnDQ8
CiM - Disco Alta (tech-house/electronica, 2000): https://youtu.be/Iz7jC3YBU0I
Dettinger - Strange Fruit (experimental electronica, 2000): https://youtu.be/62xpP_BestI
Donnacha Costello - Your New God (ambient electronica, 2001): https://youtu.be/oLj4GvNxdgY
A very dope video for two minutes of this - why do we need AI if this was already possible in 2012? Look: https://youtu.be/pu8GmSeJC_0
S. I. Futures - Eurostar (FX Mix) (electronica, 2002): https://youtu.be/TIu_NsWnDQ8
MigloJE - Ammbisso Flat (excerpt, ambient, 2005): https://www.youtube.com/shorts/D0VdYBft6eE

Rivka - Swim High (downtempo?, 2013): https://youtu.be/8xHYSMaVdrM
Rivka - Drift (downtempo?, 2013): https://youtu.be/Il9dLjdWAhs

Youtube findings of the first kind:
Gershon Kingsley - Popcorn (electronic! (with MOOG), 1969, video!, the real original and the best version of this): https://youtu.be/OSRCemf2JHc
Simple Minds - New Gold Dream (81/82/83/84) (turned out to be the source of Usura's Open Your Mind which was made a decade later – I was flabbergasted to say the least, 1982): https://youtu.be/GWAC4UeWGd0
Datathief (electronica, 1995): https://youtu.be/huslqo2x2qQ

Rennie Foster - Falling Skyward (Kaito Remix) (electronica, 2011): https://youtu.be/BCU26hWebVY
(There was a video with this music in YouTube once with a private video recording of East Berlin at the end of 1980's and these two together were mindblowingly nostalgic, to the tears! Even the original turned out to be very good and beautiful:)
Rennie Foster - Falling Skyward (electronica, 2011): https://youtu.be/70SzKqFTgiM
Jackson And His Computerband - Billy (electronica, 2013, video!): https://youtu.be/SE_LJIOpHUs

(The discovery of this music was something new to me.)

Yankee, Hotel, Foxtrot; 3, 7, 8: now dropping out of music territory but it is nevertheless no less than incredible stuff to listen to (eg before going to sleep) and if you haven't heard about what number stations are, now you have heard:
The Conet Project - Disc One: https://youtu.be/45Y3cHlFUKw
(When I played these to my mother once she didn't like it at all and asked me to turn it off. But I think it's one of the coolest things I have ever found in the internet. There is a website that has these in a schedule: https://priyom.org/number-stations/station-schedule. Listen to this introductory BBC Radio 4 broadcast about it from 2005 (at least 11:10-40 which is the coolest part): https://youtu.be/Wvr6o7fBcTY.)

Lastly, a piece of music that I made myself and would like to point out (among others in another page here). It is such a deep and creepy music that I got goosebumps immediately when listening to this again after years. Oh, almost forgot to mention that there is a hidden message coded into the seemingly random beats and sounds ;) Made with ModPlug Tracker. Now, listening to this I realised this could have another suitable title Left Zero Storm in Mars:
echo - creep one (left zero mix) (experimental ambient electronica, 30.03.2002): e-creep_one_left_zero_mix.mp3
(If you wonder what that left zero is, search for left zero semigroup.)

Sven Grünberg - Ball (1979): https://youtu.be/aW4iXjfo0q0

Drumming legends:
Buddy Rich, an "impossible" drummer; if you haven't heard of this man then it is the last time to see with goosebumps what has been possible once in the history of mankind:

D. Folk music or related.

Estonian Christian hymn with a folk melody in a very special vocal choir version:
Mu süda, ärka üles (2016): https://youtu.be/U_JMSQRw0PE

Estonian old Christian hymns in various Estonian dialects and in modern versions or a cappella, two examples:
Triskele - Nüüd olgu ikes igävest (2002): https://youtu.be/AdR0nZ24Cjw
Triskele - Nätse Jummal (2001): https://youtu.be/yLpxVOcLwco

Estonian folk music in funk versions:
Collage - Käokiri (1978): https://youtu.be/d0zVKS6vJes

Incredibly warm and beautiful film music from an Estonian fairytale / children's movie:
Päikeseratas (Wheel of Sun, melody: Olav Ehala, text: Juhan Viiding, 1975): https://youtu.be/Y9JPukpXWKM
Kodulaul (Sonf of Home, melody: Olav Ehala, text: Juhan Viiding, 1975): https://youtu.be/Z-OtyfQtyVI

Another example of some extraordinary music from another older movie with various excerpts from the same movie (the real part of the movie where the song was is in the last 15 seconds):
Majakene mere ääres (Small House at the Sea, melody: Ülo Vinter, text: Enn Vetemaa, 1978): https://youtu.be/Y9JPukpXWKM

English folk song made into something incredible (although the words are somewhat strange and sad too):
Simon & Garfunkel - Scarborough Fair (from The Concert in Central Park) (1966/1981): https://youtu.be/-Jj4s9I-53g
The original source is this, a little different (and it has about 400 years history anyway):
Martin Carthy - Scarborough Fair (1960's): https://youtu.be/kCjUDUshHdQ

Indian Carnatic vocals (have you ever heard this?):
Aruna Sairam - Kalinga Nartana Tillana (2021): https://youtu.be/Sjg5-2etoZ8

The same thing in a very different interpretation, but as amazing as the previous one, cute and lovely too:
Sooryagayathri, Rahul Vellal, Kuldeep M Pai - Kalinga Nartana Tillana (2019): https://youtu.be/gYiRRS1Qpu8

More Carnatic music – just look at that!:
TM Krishna feat. Vikku Vinayakram: Live at Afghan Church (2018): https://youtu.be/DYEh5uXrL4w

More of the ghatam instrument in an electronic setting, a very cool video as well!:
Giridhar Udupa - Chakra - The Wheel (2024): https://youtu.be/f7fzNoBtTGA

This and the next one are exceptions in the list. I both like them and don't like them for different reasons. This is an Estonian song (not folk but modern) with humorous text talking about sad reality of life and possibilities of life and finding a husband in countryside or in small towns. The band name means Women in Kitchen and the title means The Mother of the Year:
Naised köögis - Aasta ema (2017): https://youtu.be/ECsqSli1DpY

A parody/version of the previous song, almost the same text and sung by grandmothers in Võro dialect, the group name means Old Ladies in Pantry and the title means The Grandmother of the Year:
Muti' Sahvrin - Aasta vanaimä (2019): https://youtu.be/rim0TbDdJdw
